Trek Cincinnati 2017 Spring Bike Trips

We are taking two bike trips in March & April and we would love for you to join us!  We expect these trips to fill up fast, so if you are interested in holding a spot, let us know soon

Saturday, May 6  |  1-3 PM  |  Trek Bicycle Store | Blue Ash

Learn the skills and techniques to help you confidently navigate your bike on the road.  All rider levels and abilities will benefit from this street-savvy clinic taught by League Certified Instructor.  Bring your bicycle and helmet to participate in the on-bike portion of the clinic.  Space is limited so please reserve your spot today by emailing

Cost: $20

All participants should be able to balance, start, stop, and pedal their bikes with ease.  Recommended for ages 15 and up.  Minors must be accompanied by an adult.


Saturday, April 29th  |  Time: 1-3 |  Trek Bicycle Store - Fort Wright, KY

Join us at the Trek Bicycle Store in Fort Wright for a Bike Rodeo & Safety Rally event.  We've partnered with the Fort Wright Police Department and Walt's Hitching Post to provide fun games and interactive activities for community kids and families to learn how to bike safely.  We will be raffling off some prizes including a Kids' 20" Trek Precaliber.  Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Lebanon bike park project.  All ages welcome.  Grab the kids, their bikes and helmets and we'll see you there!


NOTICE: All rides are automatically cancelled in the event of rain, wet roads, a high chance of severe weather during the ride.  Helmets are required.  Front and rear Bike lights and a flat repair kit are highly recommended.  Please check Facebook for ride notifications or cancellations.

Ride Rating:  Intermediate, no drop. 
Distance: Tour de Villa Hills ~ 15 miles, Ronde von Route 8 ~ 35 miles
Average expected speed: 15 mph
Elevation: 1000 ft - 2000 ft

Description:  Check the ride calender above to see which route we will be doing each week. A few punchy climbs, 1 long, twisty descent, and 1 big climb. Road bike and helmet required, please bring a flat repair kit. Light strongly recommended.

Blue Ash Sunday Shop Ride

Ride Rating: Intermediate
Distance: 24 miles
Average expected speed: 16-18 mph  (During March expect 14-16 mph)
Elevation: 1119 ft

Description: No drop. 3 good climbs. Completely flat for about 10 miles. Helmet and well maintained road bike required, daytime running lights recommended.

West Chester Shop Rides

Beginning the first week of April

Tuesdays and Thursdays  |  6pm  |  Trek Bicycle Store - West Chester, OH  directions

Ride Description:  25-30 mile no drop ride north and into the country.  Expect rolling hills with a few challenging climbs.  Three pace groups -- expect 4-5mph faster on flats in each group.  Approx. 1,000' of climbing.  Park in front of the store by grassy median.  Sign in sheet inside front door of shop. We head out promptly at 6pm so please arrive early to get your bike ready to go.  Check the Trek Bicycle Store of Cincinnati Facebook page and the Cincinnati Cycling Club Ride Notifications for cancellations.

Knowing how to maintain your bicycle is essential for prolonging its usable life as well as keeping it safe to ride.  Learn all the basics for maintaining your bicycle at our Saturday morning bike maintenance clinic. We will cover flat tire repair, basic drive train maintenance, basic fit adjustments, necessary tools to complete all these tasks, and more.  Stop by a store near you, help yourself to a cup of coffee, and we'll take care of the rest.
